TAKE DOCTORS ADVICE - EAT YOUR VEGETABLES

It's true.. if you want the key to good skin!
Listen to what researchers found about eating your veggies.

A Good Skin Diet:
-Rich in Green and Yellow Vegetables
-Moderately High in Fats

***Green and yellow vegetables can reduce skin aging.
In a study of 716 Japanese women, there was decreased presence of crow's feet because they linked it to a high consumption of these vegetables (on average these woman ate 9 ounces, or about 3 servings, daily.)
***A Diet high in fats can improve skin elasticity.
In this same study the woman's skin elasticity was linked with there high consumption of all types of fats (about 74 grams per day).
***Eating your vegetables can provide you SPF sun protection.  
These studies also indicated the antioxidants in green and yellow vegetables, particularly beta-carotene, can act as a mild sunscreen. This may explain the green and yellow vegetables effect on wrinkling! And eating a diet moderately high in fats improves "maintenance of collagen and elastic fibers."

With that said, don't go over eating all the fat and fatty foods in your kitchen. Because in this study, the participants with the highest beneficial-fat consumption still had lower intakes than most Americans. And other studies suggest that higher amounts may adversely affect skin health, the researchers write.

An earlier Australian study found that high intake of vegetables and olive oil may be protective against sun spots on the skin.
