Natural Organic skincare products are transforming there way into the mainstream cosmetic and skincare industry. Gone are the days of there expensive counterparts.
Instead the Natural Organic skincare industry has created more competitive pricing for their products and more usefulness to the environment. Meaning, many in the industry are realizing the importance of farming locally for ingredients and reducing their carbon footprint.
But becoming a Natural Organic Product, isn't easy. In today's world there are many regulations and for the skincare industry there's no difference. In order for a skincare product to even be considered Natural Organic the ingredients for those products must be all grown and cultivated without the use of chemical based or artificial fertilizers and pesticides.
In fact, the regulations extend into the production of Natural Organic skincare products. No chemical integration is allowed, otherwise it would compromise the product and make it not organic.
In the United States, if a product claims to be made with organic ingredients, it must contain at least 70% organic ingredients. And those ingredients must be over 90% organically grown and processed.
And genetically modified ingredients can not be integrated or used for any products, food or otherwise.
Even with U.S. regulations being the way they are, still many manufacturers and producers of skin care products have a hard time making their skincare
products Natural Organic. This is
because, some organic skincare ingredients are more expensive and
difficult to acquire than others.
Non the less, in most developed countries people seem to fight for organic
skincare products. Because they know and realize the benefits to their skin and their environment. But in third world countries, where awareness is
difficult to raise, the need for cheaper and therefore more hazardous
products do not give importance to the environment. A leading reason why our environment continues to suffer today.!
